The next thing

My future's so bright, I have to wear shades.
Yeah, I went there.

So, I know it's really rude to say, "I have exciting news!" and then wait over a week to say what that actually is. My bad.

Here's what happened going back two weeks. Wednesday, the anticipation and boredom kicked in, and I had a moderate freak-out, which led to a lot of prayer and surrendering. Thursday, I found out that I was officially licensed and then had an interview scheduled within the hour. Friday, I had the interview. Monday, I got a job offer!! It happened so fast, and God's hand was clearly all over it.

I'll be working for the same hospital system where I did my internship, and I'm so excited. My schedule will be all over the place with a mixture of days, nights, and weekends. I can't wait to get a paycheck so I can tithe consistently for the first time ever, save, buy nice gifts for people, and do fun things like travel. I finally feel like a full-fledged adult!

I start Monday, so right now I'm trying to soak up these last few days of freedom. That really just means sleeping with no alarm and watching daytime TV. I'm a simple gal. More to come soon!
