A couple months ago, I made a decision to participate in year(ish) long discipleship program at my church. It's called the Austin Stone Institute Women's Development Program, which is a mouthful, so I'm just going to refer to it as Women's Development or WDP.
This is how the website describes it:
"The Women's Development Program is a church-based higher-education program built to train women to lead in the home, church, city and world. The program offers the education, experience and accountability necessary to transform students into biblically qualified leaders."
Orientation was last weekend, and there's a kick off retreat this weekend before we start our weekly classes. I'm excited about this and believe God's going to do more than I could ever imagine. I know it's going to be hard and challenging in a lot of ways, but Jesus is worth it.
That's it for now on this, but there will probably lots more processing to come right here on this blog, so now you know!
