Hi! Let's start with the basics...my name is Shannon. I live in
Austin, Texas. I try hard not take myself too seriously (sometimes I fail). I was born in California, but I am a
Texan by choice. I'm a proud
University of Texas graduate, and my current adventures is going to
grad school for a master's in social work. I went to Africa
once upon a time, and I still miss it everyday. My
friends and
family are the biggest blessing to my life. I like to make
lists. God is
good.
Other things I love: one-on-one conversations, hot tea, baking, traveling, social justice causes, being active, sports, music, photography, reading for fun, learning about anything and everything, and blogging!
This is just a fun way to document this stage of my life, so that when I'm old and uncool, I can look back and remember that I wasn't cool at this age either.
